Tamanu oil
This soothing oil has long been a beauty secret of the Tahitian Vahine. It has a proven soothing and cicatrizing property. The chemicals responsible for this property are calophyllolide and inophyllum in addition to other complex polyphenols. Through these healing, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties, Tamanu oil is an excellent raw material for cosmetics. It is usually added in regenerating and protective formulas.
