The index of professional equality between women and men
The index of professional equality between women and men is derived from the French law “Professional Future” passed on 05 September 2018 which works for “The freedom to choose one’s professional future” (Text of law which aims in particular to facilitate access to vocational training, enhance apprenticeships, put in place equal pay…). Implemented by Decree No. 2019-15 of January 8, 2019, this index aims to support the progress of companies with at least 50 employees in gender equality. The calculation methods for indicators are:
- The reference period chosen is the calendar year, from January1, 2019 to December 31, 2019
- The scope analysed is 52 employees
- All four indicators could be calculated and the level of the result corresponds to the sum of the points obtained on each of them.
